This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when using the Sigarayı Bırakıyoruz mobile application, why it is processed, how long it may be retained, and what rights you have as a user. It is aligned with our Google Play Data Safety declarations.

2) Data We Collect

• Locally stored quit-tracking data (on-device): Quit date/time, daily cigarette count, pack price, cigarettes per pack, motivation notes, and app preferences are stored on your device.
• App activity data (analytics): General in-app interaction events (e.g., app_open, screen usage) may be collected via Firebase Analytics to improve product quality and UX.
• Crash logs and diagnostics: Crash/performance diagnostics may be collected via Firebase Crashlytics for stability and bug fixing.
• Device or other identifiers: Advertising/device identifiers may be processed by ad/analytics SDKs (e.g., AdMob/Firebase) according to their own privacy terms.

Important: We do not require account creation for core app use, and we do not collect your quit-tracking entries as remote health records by default.

3) Purposes of Processing

• To track your quit-smoking progress,
• To present personalized progress indicators,
• To operate reminders and widget features,
• To improve app quality and user experience (analytics),
• To monitor errors and app stability (crash diagnostics),
• To support ad delivery and measurement where applicable.

4) Health-Related Progress Data

The app processes health-related progress data entered by the user, such as quit date/time, daily cigarette count, and similar smoking-cessation progress information, primarily on the device.

This data is not sold and is processed only for app functionality, analytics, and service quality improvements.

5) Legal Basis

Processing may rely on legal bases such as consent, legitimate interests, contract performance, and/or legal obligations under applicable law. The app primarily uses on-device (local) data processing.

6) Permissions

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: May be used for daily reminders and progress notifications. You can change this permission anytime in device settings.

7) Storage and Security

A major part of app data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data may remove this information. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are applied, but no digital system can guarantee absolute security.

8) Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party SDKs/services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google AdMob. These providers may process limited technical and identifier data under their own privacy terms.

9) Data Sharing

Personal data is not sold or rented. Limited data may be shared with infrastructure providers (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, advertising) strictly to operate and improve the app, and when legally required.

The app targets a general audience and does not intentionally collect personal data from children.

11) Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection to processing, and complaint. You may submit privacy or deletion requests via email.

12) International Transfers

Third-party providers may operate infrastructure in other countries. Where applicable, transfers are made in line with legal and contractual safeguards.
